Gemma Richardson is a PhD student with a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Social Justice from the University of Windsor (2009) and a Bachelor of Journalism degree with Combined Honours in Human Rights from Carleton University in Ottawa (2004). Her work experience includes several years in the non-profit sector, mainly working for human rights organizations in both Ottawa and Kenya, and as a communications coordinator for a community health organization in Toronto.
